Attention all Premium TransitChek participants:
TransitCenter, Inc., our TransitChek commuter benefits provider, has informed us that the IRS has approved increases in the maximum pretax amount that you can use toward your benefit.
On January 1, 2007, the maximum amount for:
- Transit increased to $110/month
- Commuter parking increased to $215 – [if offered]
You may change your deduction amount starting January 16, 2007 to reflect the new maximum using the online management account at www.mytransitchek.com or by calling TransitCenter Customer Service at (800) 576-1171.
If you currently include post-tax deductions toward your commuter benefit, your maximum pre-tax amount will increase automatically. Your post-tax amount will be decreased so that the total amount of your deduction remains the same.
